Mayor’s Christmas Carols Presented by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast
When: 1 December, 2018

Where: Broadwater Parklands, Southport
Cost: Free
Regarded as the premier Christmas event on the Gold Coast, this evening draws an impressive cast of musical talent including the likes of Kate Ceberano and Anthony Callea. There’s fun for the kids with a PJ Masks Christmas show, and delicious eats with an array of food trucks on offer. Of course it wouldn’t be a Gold Coast event without a stunning fireworks display to top off the night.
Tugun Lights Up 2018
When: 1 December to 31 December, 2018 – Christmas light displays
When: 1 December, 2018 From 4pm – Christmas light display celebration night
Where: Tugun Village, Southern Gold Coast
Cost: Free
This annual month-long celebration is now in it’s 6th year! The event promotes the village beachside village with a glittering Christmas light display in the shopfront windows.
Head along on the opening evening, Sat 1 Dec, for great family fun including entertainment, carols, face painting and market stalls.
Broadbeach Christmas Carols 2018
When: 8 December, 2018
Time: 3pm activities start, 6pm Carols
Where: Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach
Cost: Free
Enjoy an evening of singing and Christmas merriment at Kurrawa Park Broadbeach. There will be fun for the whole family, including kids rides and activities, and a performance by The Smurfs! You’ll be Tra, la, la…ing along in no time!
The Carols kick off at 6pm and includes the very talented Martin Crewes and Danielle Everett. There will also be performances by the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, Gold Coast Choir, Signature Dance and more. The evening will end with a bang at approximately 7:30-8pm with a fireworks show. Broadbeach Christmas Carols will be hosted by Emily Jade & Christo from 102.9 Hot Tomato and is proudly sponsored by Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
Christmas in Surfers Paradise
When: 13-24 December, 2018
Where: Surfers Paradise
Cost: Free
Head to Surfers Paradise for 12 days of Christmas with an Aussie twist. There will be roving carollers, a giant advent calendar, quirky Christmas trees, a Bugs Bunny Meet & Greet, the chance to win great prizes and the highlight – Santa decked out in his summer boards at his beach shack! Bring your camera so you can snap a selfie with the man in red.
Carols on the Beach

Where: Surfers Paradise Beach

Enjoy an evening of Christmas entertainment on the beach! Spread some Christmas cheer with a great line-up of local talent and be sure to stick around for the concluding fireworks display.
